The INTRAN Framework
As a result of great national and regional interest, INTRAN created a framework, which enables public agencies outside Norfolk (but belonging to the eastern region) to join INTRAN when they want, without the need for tendering for services. The INTRAN framework enables public agencies to demonstrate that they actively promote “equality of access to information and services to all”.
The prime objectives of the framework are:

To deliver a seamless and tailor-made Interpreting and Translation service within the whole Partnership.

To provide an evidence base for informing future planning especially in relation to communities in need.

To fully develop, simplify and standardise our members’ access to Interpreting and Translation services.

To promote awareness and understanding of staff and users.

To increase value-for-money for stakeholders.

To continue the development and review of INTRAN services within a changing environment.
