Interpreter Training

INTRAN has been involved in developing, organising and delivering a wide range of training events and courses for local interpreters.

These have included:

• Introduction to public service interpreting courses
• Diploma for Public Service Interpreting in Health
• Diploma for Public Service Interpreting in Law
• Continuing Professional Development events including Child protection, Mental Health, Culture and Interpreting, Working for a District Council, housing, Social Services, Ethics workshops.
• Interpreters' work meetings
